TXT As Post

This page is just for wordpress plugin TXT As Post.
Upload zip file that contains plain text(.txt format files), and then let TXTAsPost process and schedule them.

Warning: the first line of .txt file must be TITLE and the rest will be treated as CONTAIN.

Supported features:

* Specify category/categories to post
* Specify tags to post
* Time Interval by hours
* Published time has two options:
1, Accroding to the time of latest post e.g. your existing latest post was published at 8:00, so next post will be published at 8:00 + time interval
2, From now on e.g. first post publish immediately, next post will be published after time interval
* Error Log
* Support page.
* Support custom date or tags in second line

    Consider adding two more “fields”:

    #1. Categories

    #2. Page or Post

    #3. Comments
    – author
    – date
    – comment

    Then I can use this plugin to migrate content from a standalone forum.

    #1 Multiple categories to post? Yeah, I will implement it in next version.
    #2 Page option is a good idea.
    #3 um, I think this feature will make txtaspost complicated and then we can call it as TXTAsContent lol
    TxtAsPost couldn’t/won’t fetch content from your forum because that TxtAsPost is aiming to help people make blogging easy in just uploading zip file that contains .txt files.

    Just adding more from category and page option. I think tag is needed.
    But I still doing nothing for odds, cause I still backing up my article. Damn*d, 6000 article.

    Tommorrow, I’ll starting upload. Wait for my result :)
    Btw, this is great plugin, Jesse. I search to everywhere and nothing. :) )

    I’ve added Multiple Categories feature and txtaspost now is 1.1 .
    Sorry, page option will be released at the end of Oct because of busy work.

    well, I’ve found out the implementation of page option is easier than I think.
    So I’ve spend a littlt time to complete it.
    Wait for me to upload to wordpress plugin svn.

    Hey, i am really loving this plugin. But is there a way I can use custom date and time? Like if the first line is for TITLE, maybe I can use the 2nd line for a custom date, then the rest will for the CONTENT? I’m using exact date and time (hours, minutes, sometimes seconds ) for each of my posts. Is this possible?

    Dear Jesse,

    Curenttly Im using your work, TXTAsPost = Import .txt as post in bulk.
    it is help me so much time to upload my text to my new website.

    i have suggetion in TXTAsPost,

    first line for title
    second line for tags, seperated by comma (,)
    third line and the rest will be treated as CONTENT

    i cant use tags box in menu, because im usually upload more than 20 articles in once.

    sorry for my bad english

    Ari, nice to see your feedback.
    Your suggestion I will take into consideration in next version because that you are not the only one who, like icezorg, suggest me fetch something in second line of txt.

    BTW Recently, I am working on another plugin “Backup Conten As Txt”, maybe tomorrow it will release. lol I am too lazy to test it.

    Can the txt files be read from an specif folder or we can just set them from wp admin using .zip files?

    No, it doesn’t support reading txt files from folders, you just upload your file and then txtaspost will handle it.
